Al HILAL Hospital Company BSC © is a 48 bedded multi specialty healthcare facility located in Muharraq. Being located close to the major highways and the airport, the hospital is reachable and accessible for patients coming from any area.
The hospital provides specialized out-patient as well as in-patient care with specialties providing emergency care, medical, surgical, obstetrics, pediatric, dental and critical care to mention a few of them. The hospital’s services are supported by the finest diagnostic and outpatient treatment services that use the latest technology.
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art accident and emergency wing providing 24 hours service, 6 bedded centrally monitored ICU, two operation theaters with 8 bedded male and female recovery rooms (Post Operative Room), full-fledged labor theater with recovery beds and baby care unit, 1 minor operation theater and modernized x-ray, ultrasound (4D), and 24 hours laboratory unit and pharmacy.
Al Hilal Hospital Company BSC © was established on 16th November 2005 with an objective of providing quality healthcare at an affordable price, with the capital of BD 250,000/- (two hundred fifty thousand). It is promoted by Alfanar Investment Holding Co. BSC (c), which is a leading Group of Companies in The Kingdom of Bahrain and is now managed by Badr Al Samaa Medical Services SPC, a part of the Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals and Polyclinic, a well established group of hospitals in the Sultanate of Oman.
Al Hilal Hospital was soft launched on 12th August 2006 and since its inception, the hospital enjoys a very healthy growth pattern with increasing number of patients availing of its services. The hospital was officially inaugurated on 20th December 2006 by the then Minister of Health H.E. Nada Haffadh.
As a mark of our progress, on 24th March 2010, the hospital commemorated the accomplishment of 250,000 patient visits and the treatment of 100,000 patients. A commemorative Plaque was unveiled by the Minister of Health H.E. Dr. Faisal Bin Yaqoub Al Hammar on the occasion.
