Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • General Summary: Manages sales of the company’s products division and services.
  • Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning,

deployment and management of sales personnel.

  • Identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.

 

CORE FUNCTIONS:

  • Collaborates with General Manger  in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the different Products handled by the Company.
  • Manages an assigned geographic sales area and  product lines to maximize sales revenues and meet Company’s objectives. Brings additional Product alliances to increase the turnover and profitability to the Company.
  • Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel.

 

DETAILS OF FUNCTION:

  • Supports the success of an assigned team of salespeople, including Account Managers, and Business Development Sales Representatives. ·
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned products. ·
  • Provides coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills. ·
  • Lead demand-generating marketing activities in the assigned market for the assigned product specialty.
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts. ·
  • Coordinate the customer involvement of other company personnel when needed, including support resources, team members, and management.
  • Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
  • Collaborates with General Manager & Commercial dept. to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade show expenses.
  • Reviews progress of sales roles throughout the Division.
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.
  • Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.
  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
  • Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures.
  • Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top echelon decision-makers.
  • Collaborates with the Team and Management  to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
  • Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
  • Educates sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A university degree in marketing or business studies is preferred; and  a minimum of 10-15 years  of related experience in Engineering and Telecom/Office Automation/IT/ Product Sales . A valid driver’s license preferred
