Job Description
About CEO Job in Oman
One of our client’s in Oman, a conglomerate with a portfolio comprising of real estate development projects and investment in major listed and unlisted companies in Oman is hiring a CEO. The position reports directly to the owners of the company.
The ideal candidate will manage the overall operations of the company as well as develop and implement strategies that meet the needs of the customers, the stakeholders, and the employees. They will be responsible for making key decisions and executing the culture of the company.
Responsibilities
- Take lead across all aspects of the company by reviewing how departments work together
- Make key decisions that will affect the company’s direction
- Manage the existing portfolio of investment in Oman, the GCC and abroad
- Set future strategies for development projects and propose work of action to the owners
- Build a team of senior staff to carry out the strategy implementation process
- Build a positive and productive culture in the workplace
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- MBA
- Other academic, vocational or professional qualifications would be of great advantage
Requirements
- At least 15 years’ of work experience
- 8+ years’ experience in a senior managerial role
- Solid experience in real estate development and managing investment portfolio in the Middle East
- Thorough knowledge of the investment market in Oman and/or the GCC
- Strong leadership, decision making and communication skills
- Capable to independently manage the group’s P & L, set budget, monitor performance, manage stakeholders and handle challenges of various natures
- Well versed with the business environment in the Gulf region and have a deep understanding of the local culture
